Brief description:

My research aims to determine how the PRC's (People's Republic of China) past and present policies towards Taiwan have been formed and shaped from the founding of the PRC in 1949 to the current Xi Jinping administration. By looking at public speeches, unclassified documents, historical cases and events, and interviews, I aim to reveal the crucial factors that led the PRC to change its policy towards Taiwan.
